You will be happy to know the Invisalign system makes it easy for you with fewer visits to the office as well as a shorter treatment time. With the advanced 3-D computerized imaging technology, a treatment plan is developed and thermoplastic aligners are constructed. They are like teeth-whitening trays as they are custom-made for a precision fit to the shape of your teeth. Every two weeks, you will replace the aligners with a new set, as your teeth are gently moved into the correct position. Gradual progress will be made throughout your treatment time, which varies for each patient. You will be evaluated in our office every four to eight weeks while you are wearing them.

Boosting Your Confidence
Both traditional braces and aligners will give you the smile you want, but there are several advantages to the Invisalign system. Some patients hesitate to have their teeth straightened because of the way braces look. You can be relieved of this worry and be confident while you wear them, as the Invisalign system uses clear aligners that are nearly invisible. Only if looking very closely can they be seen.

Another advantage to Invisalign is that they are comfortable to wear. There are no wires, metal, or headgear that need adjusting or that could irritate your mouth. And they are easier and more convenient for you during your treatment. You spend much less time in the dentist’s chair. You wear them during the day and night, but they are removable when you eat and brush. This allows you to eat what you want, when you want, and still be able to clean your teeth properly.
